We were in the harbour and this boat catch my attention. It's like the boat in Pirate of the Caribbean but it is not. "Götheborg"(boat name) few years old and the copy from the old old boat that sank many years ago. The authority decided to build a copy from the old boat that look exactly the same. This have been sailing from Gothenburg to China that takes 5-6 months to arrived the destination.
Year 1995 was the start of the construction, the launch took place on 6 June 2003. April 2004 visited China that brought the symbol for trade, cultural exchange and friendship between Sweden and China.
I wonder about the spelling "Götheborg"( the name of ship) as pronounce in Swedish but not the right spelling. I asked my husband why?then he said this is the old spelling ,name of the old boat "Götheborg" or Gothenburg in English that actually spells in this word"Göteborg".
At this days...lot of Swedish company located in China..

- Abeth
- From Cebu and landed here in Northern Europe a Nordic Country on the Scandivian Peninsula ..soon to be a Mom. Life living outside Philippines is interesting and a lot of challenge ,of course difficult because of the language.People in Sweden speak Swedish and I need to step back from the basic just to learn their language and to have a job.I created this blog for my family and friends in Philippines, easy for them to update my life here. My other reason is to keep updating my english language.
