I am worried for the bad situation in Maguindanao. Most of my co workers are asking about the massacre. I did my best to explained them and try to clean their minds that everything is in control. But it was hard to convince since people here are reading daily newspaper everyday.
I love my country,but I don't know how to depend it against criticism. I know I am lucky enough living abroad. But deeply inside me is seeking answers of why politicians in my country are living egoistical way. When could it happen that someone give a real service without thinking of money.
I may be wrong, or maybe I am right.But for the sake of my "kababayan". I bother about the future not only for my families that living inside the country but for everybody. Hope worse situation would be solve soon.One more advice "ALWAYS VOTE WISELY":

Yap that is true, human by nature are not contented eventhough that the power is in their hands. We could say that greed of power is the root of all evils becuase they do not want somebody to replace them in position. Have you seen different mansions of ampatuans' inspite of the fact that their province is one of the poorest provinces in the country and then they enjoy the luxury life. while their people are suffering from poverty. Imagine the situation they have all the guns and gones to threaten their people.
ReplyDeletesometimes we could say that it was the prize of vote buying. They dont even think of their future becuase voters are contented with 100-1000 just to vote and then they will suffer the whole life. The event their was for me a signed nga ang ginoo naningil na sa ila, diba? . Maguidanao massacre was an eye opener to all the Filipinos to vote wisely. Maayo unta pero mapalit raman gud dayon. we are hot when issues are their but once there is money everything is forgotten. so thats why progress in our country is very slow.
Hope that the coming election the filipino people are now wise enough to choose the best person the position that could create a difference in the lives of every filipino. You are fortunate enough that in sweden the government is really the government of the people.
We want changes but it is difficult to achieve because of our rotten culture. There are many factors to consider why our country is moving very slow like a turle in terms of economy progress. we are 20 years behind compared to the developed countries like Europe yet all government offcials are corupt. Indeeed this culture made us poor country.
We just hope and pray for change especially that the 2010 election is coming.
