yesterdays dinner

I am not a master in terms of cooking. Yesterday since I was at home I tried to show to my husband that I can cooked. I was happy that my morning sickness (pregnant) never has not come up.

Right before hour 18:00 in the evening I prepared a simple menu. I wanted a simple dinner because I don't like standing to long in the kitchen. "Pancit" for yesterdays dinner as I confirmed first to my husband if he wanted to have for our dinner or not.

I used common ingredients that I have at home.
  • carrot
  • chayote ( I bought from Asian market here).
  • garlic
  • unions
  • used 3 different kinds of soy sauce(picture above)
  • pork meat
  • egg noodles ( I bought from Asian market)
  • black pepper

First I cooked the noodles separately, around 3 minutes. While at the same time I prepared the rest of ingredients.

I used wok pan in cooking, when it was heat I add olive oil. I put meat first because I wanted to fried it little bit then add the black pepper for flavour. When the meat look like golden I add the garlic and then unions. Then continue with carrots, soy sauces (the 3 kinds as mentioned above). Then add the chayote and lastly the "half cooked noodles".

I never used water because the soy sauce give enough fluid. Food is serve with hard bread rich in fiber.and I love it for the first time. A simple dinner that satisfied my appetite and even to my husband.
