The clock is ticking!

Trying to do something else today. The weather is wonderful for the whole weekend. Setting here in beach while watching the sunset. My husband is busy throwing his casting rod and waiting to catch some fish.

The sun go down so fast, that tomorrow is another day again. I've been watching the moment that the darkness fall.

It's just like that I was yesterday. One day is not always enough.

It's not easy to be perfect and no one is good for that. But thinking how lucky they are, inhabitants of Sweden their life and good place they live in. Is everyone of them is satisfied?.Hope they are.

A small thing make me happy

I was working Sunday afternoon from 1200 hr until 2100 hr. The weather was not so nice as Saturday. My husband went to fishing again together with his friend.

When I was home I directly planned to take shower and then maybe have something snack before I went to bed. I know it's not good ,eating snacks on that hour. But I felt like I wanted to have something.

After taking my hot shower. My husband called out my name and then he showed me the fish that he caught on that day. It's " bawo" fish.

My husband know that I really really like fish. I looked at the time and it's almost 2200 but I decided to make fish soup "Filipino style". Heehehhe its' sounds maybe crazy but you may understand me that I've been longing some fresh fish soup for a long time.
I mean it was different fish that I usually bought in the fish market here. To make my story short. My whole night was so amazing.

a hug maybe!

I'd like to be treated as a person with respect from everybody. This is what our old people wanted from us today. Our young generation have lack of discipline and values nowadays as we observed.

I ride tram or sometimes buss to the city. An old woman was standing with a very uncomfortable position. All seats was occupied by teenagers. No one cares!

A lot of pensioner was complaining for the young adults behavior. What happened in the future if all of our young ones continue behaving badly? Can we blame our parents? It's so hard to discuss about this situation because it depends us and the countries situation where we are living in. They have diff. laws regarding child's right. Laws that have lot of advantages and disadvantages.

I'm far too upset to talk about some disadvantages in children's right. I myself love children and wanted to have my own child someday. But I cannot avoid feeling such worries as wanted to be a parent. How could I manage to be a good mother against this modern society.

A lot poor countries, that were parents have 100% control for their own children . Teaching them such good values at home and have respect to each other specially to their old ones. But yes, some of them miss abused their own child. Their is no perfect law for every one. As we see the situation today.

Hope we never forget that without our parents and grand-grandparents we never exist . Don't forget to love them. A hug maybe it helps.

How's ur weekend!

Saturday morning ! woke up 1000hr alone in the bed. My husband went up early for fishing with his friend. I decided to stay at home and take it easy! I have work tomorrow so it's nice to stay at home.

I cooked Filipino food for my breakfast and let the balcony wide opened! What a lovely daY! While eating I was thinking about this coming summer. I felt excited for my 5 weeks vacation. From the window I heard birds that singing. It's nice to see them and watched building there nest helping hands.

We have a pleasant surroundings here where I live. Beautiful flowers bloom day by day. Sweden is a pleasant country to live in even if it's cold here during winter season. After 3 years of living here I can say that I've been learning a lot of things and adapt 50% of my life. But I cannot deny to myself that I missed my friends and family in my motherland...

Thursday morning I've been meeting with my 2 Thai friends. We've been planning to watch film"Confessions of a Shopaholic".

The film will started 1300hr so we decided to look around in the shopping center for window shopping only. Since we have already book 3 ticket.

But wheww... the time goes so fast. 12:30hr we decided to leave and wait for a tram. Wait? my friend and I have forgotten to check in the net the street name and the tram number just to get there. How could be come in time? We was totally feel that the atmosphere was heated.Things happened sometimes...

We recognized that it's the first time we watched movie together. Every time I watch movie with my husband we have car,and so they are.

We come up with an idea to take a walk. I phoned my husband how to get there and he give the address but he can't give the tram number since he himself is not used to ride a tram as he drive "car"everyday. While walking,we've been passing through the apartment side and lots of flowers that was growing. Beautiful view! Take some photo and continue walking.

Thank heavens! we come in time. The cinema was not crowded. We sat in the chair and just waiting for the movie to start. Still no one coming! We recognized that only the 3 of us was watching movie.

We've been joking each other and feel special for that day. I told my husband when I was home and he laughed.

Maunday Thursday-Simana Santa!

Maundy Thursday day before Good Friday. Swedish people have their own way of celebrating Holy week.
At home or in offices they used feather for decoration ,chicken figures and daffodil in the table or some yellow flowers as color symbol of their Holy Week.
Swedish choose yellow color since red is for Christmas. The yellow color reminds about the sun that gives people happiness.
According to the old tradition people who woke- up early could see and watch how the sunrise and they will dance for joy.( Since we have a short summer here... ). Egg? why they have egg, according to their old tradition egg is a symbol of life. Life in form of the heat of the sun and the little yellow chicken- that's why Easter is yellow..
Impressive!!! well well I do like yellow.. I remember before when it's Easter day we cannot used knife and other sharp things. As our old tradition, the wound heals slowly.
Different countries with different tradition . What we need is just show some respect..

courage!

A lot of people said that we need to "dare" because each one of us have extra ordinary talent!
But sometimes our effort is not enough . It demand a lot of patience!

April!April!!! got a friendly smile from my co worker this morning after a fruitful discussion with the manager. Month of salary increase! Capable for the job "my boss said to me this morning" My heart got stumbled. At be rewarded for the efforts and good work is not easy to explain.

I wanted to say that living here in Sweden makes me more matured enough and have courage to show "That I can" No things is impossible no matter what.

My weekend adventure!

Ecological and economical... hhehehe today with my husband I go fishing! It's been a long time that I did not taste fresh fish or sea foods.

I missed my childhood time .Back in Philippines, when it's low tide season we usually went to the seashore bring some foods and have picnic. "Manginhas" in my Cebuano dialect.

Here in abroad we cannot just went on fishing but we have some rules to follow at the same time.

  • never catch small fish and etc.
Today we've been in a place that quite long from the motorway. It takes 30 minutes from the parking area. The weather was not good at the morning but the sun shine around 1200h. It's cold and the wind rose time to time. We've been passing under the forest!

I was impressed with the beauty of the nature here in Sweden. They have an unspoiled nature!

I asked my husband if I can pick up some flowers but he answered NO! hehhehe I was almost tempted with the natures beauty...
After passing a lot of granite I felt tired and told my husband that I need to take some rest!
We stopped behind the granite and started fishing. Waiting some fish to bite is not easy.
