A question to all who those had interest reading my blog. Have you ever used words that be hard of hearing ? A typical example if you are an immigrant for country who speaks their own language aside from English.
I have that experience yesterday! It was happened after 1600h. I get used to punched my card after I changed my working uniform. Suddenly I heard the sounds "peep". I reacted right away and said "Pippa " in Swedish this means have sex with. On that moment my co worker that stood besides me was laughing! I recognized that I pronounced it wrong.
When I said "Pippa" I was thinking words "piper" which in Swedish means sounds in a high pitch. I did that mistakes without intention.
Usch! I felt embarrassed but well, that's life. It is not easy to be perfect. Learning language from other country is so difficult. I know I need more training it's just hard sometimes.
Swedish language itself is difficult they have some special words that need to pronounced clearly and correct tempo otherwise Swedish people miss understand you.
Anyway it was done and I learned from my mistakes.
