Cooking "lechon baboy" during despedida was not an easy one.My nephews did the extra ordinary job and the lechon taste good.

"Letchon baboy"(roasted pig) is one of the Filipinos favorite dish on special occasion like wedding and fiesta or special gathering in the family. HAVING "lechon"is like a tradition in Philippines.Lot of people know that this is not a healthy food, but since during occasion only I myself did ate and hm-mm I did enjoyed.

    Is it unfair?

How is your life as parents?our answers "depends where you live "or the economic status of the family.I myself is not yet a parents but hoping to be one somebody. But I know that life as parents is tough specially if you don't' have money.

In every poor country and specially if your belong to a poor family, it's hard to have chance to proceed school and even went to college. Some parents cannot afford to buy uniforms and other school needs of their children.Dreaming that the child have a better future, well forget it if you don't have money. This was the everyday situation that I observed during my young age until now.

As a child of poor family it requires patience and hard work.Lot of them work as house helper during the day and goes to school at night. In the end they make their parents proud because they finished school and get a good job.But not all of them succeed their dream, because of some circumstances that they cannot control. Some of them choose to got married early because they thought that it's the easy solution.

But not the same if you have rich parents that can afford everything.Going to the expensive schools and have drivers everyday.Luxury life as we can see.Is it not unfair?I even asked to myself why some people are lucky and some are not?

Why life in Sweden is not the same in other country?.They have such a good life here, schools are not required to have uniform.Public library have books available for everybody, plus Internet service.Their government did a great job and have a good democratic order.I am thankful that I live here, but I feel sad to hear from the agony of others.Life is hard to define.

    how we celebrate b-day!

Today's blog is about how we Filipinos celebrate birthday.Birthdays in Philippines are celebrate both child and adults. In the part of the country, we have different ways how to celebrate.Their is a common belief specially those living in the rural area. That we used to kill animal for example goat, pig,or chicken.

Chicken is the most common that usually family can afford to have. The celebration is just simple. As the routine, early in the morning we sing "happy b-day song".If it's the child who celebrate b-day,the parents will bring the child to the church and light some candles as thanks "God"for the another year come.Mostly who did this routine are catholic.

At home, when we kill the animal we make some "cross sign"in some part of the body using animal blood. This is somewhat a belief of long time ago that still exists in my country. That even my family have it every birthday celebration.

I cannot explain why?and where did it came from.As I guess maybe from Spaniards because we have such different believe that copied from them. But as I said maybe...am not so sure of it.

Photos was during my nephews birthday celebration. We took this during our summer vacation.

    chicken ready ....

the celebrant..we took photo for fun only, this pose doesn't mean anything

the preparation how ...? it makes me hard to see real, feel pity but it's the belief.

The reason why I was inspired!

I do beleive that life is useless without an inspiration.Family is part of it why we need to strive hard and do the very best.I was grown up without a mother. She was died when I was 6 years old, 31 years ago.Since then we helped hand in hand in the family.College days was tough enough and everybody makes contribution for tuition fee.One stop schooling and find some work then wait the turn until the other graduated.

I was proud to say that we made it the best.No member in the family involve to drugs or whatever it is.Until we settle down and find our own family. My family is my inspiration that even I live far away from them.Eveytime we meet each other we made it special.Photo's makes me feel that they are still near to me.
