A train station 5minutes away from my place. It was Wednesday and 1000 hr in the morning. The station was quite I cannot see any children running around or playing near by the street.

Apartments are 300 meters away from this station. Apparently,that Sweden is not populated country.

The Canal!

Canal cruise through "Göta Kanal"

"Göta Kanal" which we called it in Swedish. I took this photo last summer during our summer trip. This canal was located in Ljungsbro north west of Linköping.

The canal will wide open as long as the water comes in the right level where the cruise pass through.

It's a very relaxing moment while watching the canal open. This is popular here in Sweden during summer.Lot of tourist coming by and ride the canal cruise.

complexion!

Yes!!! summer is approaching. Today's weather is so wonderful, that makes everybody feel like not to work. It's perfect to have sun bathing for the whole day.

Here,girls love to have tan skin. No one here used umbrella for sun protection!contrary in my home land. Hehhehe.. people like me who have already brown complexion wanted to be white. I remember of my college days that I and my friend used bleaching in order to look lighter in our skin. In the stores you can see a lot of whitening lotion and soap. Otherwise girls went to some beauty parlor or spa for bleaching purposes.

Now,I do realized that I am lucky because I have this brown complexion. Girls here in Sweden love sunburn!heheheh.

Imagine that God created us differently and no one is satisfied.We always wanted things that the others have.

Are you a coffee lover? Yes I am now hehehhe.) Many years back when I was still single coffee is not really for me. Every break time ,I do drink water or sometimes tea.

I noticed after my 3 years of stay here. I do love coffee! I think I have been influenced by my co worker.

Swedish people are world premier coffee consumer. They drink average more than 3 cups coffee per person in one day.

In my work we used to say "fika " a Swedish word means coffe break.

I am talking about "dermatologica"

I am one of those girls who like facial product. Yah I can't denied it I think all girls are have same dream to be perfect in front of other people.Well not 100% perfect but of course presentable in short.

I've been testing a lot of product but still not so contented as it supposed to be. But I keep on searching until one day I read from Swedish magazine about this product. I was curious about and I did surfing in the net about it. I read a lot of positive discussion .

I'm using it almost one month now and so far I was so satisfied with the result.

Feel peckish for!

fishing as my husband new hobby this season. Sometimes he went fishing after work for only 2 hours. Since it's still light till 2100 hr in the evening so he feel coming along in his leisure.

Straight 3 evening he got home lucky . Yesterday he caught spoon fish (hope I translate it right) or "Gädda" in Swedish. It's a fish from the sweet water. This is one of the popular fish we have here in Sweden but this is difficult to catch as many fisherman said. This can be weigh to 20 - 25 kilo.

The taste was not bad as it was my first time ever.

I never feel tired of eating fish. ...not so often that we have opportunity like this so we grab the chance. It couldn't happen during winter season otherwise.

Fish is one source of omega 3,protein,vitamin D and vitamin B.

The mean one..I think

As usual day,it's my day off and I was meeting my Thai friends in the restaurant. We just ate lunch and same routine, window shopping.

Since I'm in the city so I drop by in Asian store to buy some rice and Phil.made sardine hehehehhe.) At home my husband cooked food while I do some checking of the things I need to bring this coming summer vacation. I made some list of everything so that we could not miss important things.

The food was serve and we was about to eat dinner,my husband laugh loudly. Of course I try to get his attention of is going on. He saw this American realty TV program " Momma's Boys". I am curious of what happened so I watched TV while eating my dinner.

Guys if you are watching this TV program you may shock with this Mom. She is Jojo's mother...

The winner!

Yesterday night was the final of Euro vision Song Contest. Sweden was part of the final,but unfortunately Sweden got no change to win. It was placed number 21. It so sad since all people are hoping that Marlena win. Anyway that's the contest sometimes. It cannot denied that the Swedish people yearn for victory.

If we count back for the ABBA'S time that Sweden become popular because of this group. Seems that the star was not yet born to bring Sweden back in top.

It's not totally bad in the other hand since Norway the neighbor country won the final. A member of Scandinavian country. If you're interested guys you can watch him on you tube. Type Alexander Rybak.

Clean and Green

Tynnered is the 21 borough of Gothenburg City. I like the place not the reason that I lived here. But because a lot of beautiful places that located in this district.

The surroundings are in great value and a have a popular bathing places, nature that everybody can go for a country walk and such relaxing places.

Like this cow that shown in the photo was one example of their project and bought by the non-profit association. The young black calf was only 1 week old. The association named him "Simon".

All these places are free, the district give the service to all citizen. I was impressed of the good effort of the civilian. They help their area clean. Without the mention of the young adult that sometimes makes some vandalism,and that's why the senior citizen react angrily.

Hope this will happened in my home country...clean and green.

First and foremost I would like to inform you guys that this article is not a negative fact about the country I've been living in.

I only compare the difference between the things around here from my home country. Because I do believe that every country have their own rules and system that we inhabitants need to follow.

I would like to give my overview about the "Swedish Television" channel 1 or in Swedish (SVT1). This station own my the state. You can watched their TV program without without cutting by an advertisement.

They have no advertisement! Yes,,, because it's the Swedish people who paid "TV licence". I think it's unfair to those who will not watch their program.

Well,well the choice is yours..will you paid "TV licence or take the risk ending up in worse situation to the head of enforcement district.

The choice is yours...hehehhe.

Things need to think about!

Wednesday it's another brand new day. Yahh!!! summer is past approaching and I will meet my family soon.

I would like to talk about the global crises again here in my blog. I was so bothered for the fast weekend because one of the biggest hospitals here in Gothenburg dismissed 40 regular employees. This is the 2ND time and they have no choice..Volvo have the worst because thousands of their employed was dismissed.

The first year I arrived in Sweden I told myself how safe I am. They have everything here the government try to help to those who have no job. A lot of refuges came here and got help. Apartment,food and they have allowances. But now everything change,in a sudden turn.

More and more unemployed keep on increasing. Yah, the unemployment benefit society helped them but until when? How could the government support them in the future if not so many today are tax payer? I think it's Swedish people who paid higher tax monthly compared to the rest country in Europe(correct me if I'm WRONG). I myself paid 32% of my income salary every month. No one can hide their income from the tax department otherwise you got some trouble from them.

In the other hand this global crises wake up us TO THOSE PEOPLE who never think how to save money in the future. We are spending too much,than our monthly salary income. It's human behaviour that sometimes we cannot control. But now maybe we must need a change. Cut some of our unnecessary living standard.

We are not alone for this fear a lot pensioner are complaining because their monthly pension is not enough for their monthly needs. I heard from the rumors that not so many Swedish family can go for summer vacation this year as they used to be.

I'm happy, because exactly in the borderline where the crises started I got my permanent job. Stable hope so... for this time my employer manage financially. As everybody says that hopefully this will go over.

Eurovision song contest!

May 12,tonight is the night of semi-final for Euro vision song contest. This time it's held in Moscow Russia.

Sweden goes to final for this coming weekend! Cheer on Malena Ernman, Swedish representative's for this year. She is singing "La Voix"..if your interested try to click you-tube and find the word"La Voix" hope you do like it.

Did you knew that "Stress affected our hearing? If you feel stressed you experience that the sounds keep more stronger.

Your phone ringing exactly when you get in the buss. Of course you need to answer because maybe it's your friend who is waiting for you in the meeting place. Then suddenly the signal disappear and a rasping sounds in your ear.

This situation was happened to me so often. That's the thing we earned sometimes if we have mobile phone heheheh. The time we stressed, release this hormone cortisol in the blood. Medical examination shows that for the short period of stress can high cortisol content give protection against stronger sound.

But if we stress in long period the effect can be opposite. Noise, and high volume in our mp3 or radio is not good for us. So next time think to lower the volume while listening your mp3 player.

Try to relax and avoid stress!!!!

Saturday night

Bowling night,such an evening yesterday. Saturday night" ika nga" hehhehe. My husband and I with some common family friend played bowling together for 1 hr.

Yesterday, I really enjoyed. I woke up this morning with pain in my right shoulder. It's been a long time since I played this game,after I moved here.

After the game we ate dinner in Greek restaurant and the night have full of laughter.

It's so fun..fun..fun.

It's Friday!

As usual day and I was sleeping 10hrs till this morning!!!hehehehhe. I'm working evening shift for this week days and finally I'm off from work tomorrow.

It's raining for the whole day. My work started 1400 hr so I make it easy this morning and watched "The City".

I don't know maybe sounds crazy because it's more on young adults. But since I like fashion that's why I'm so interested about it. The cast in the show are involve with fashion industry. I have fun while watching it. So sad the season one was finished and hope the season 2 is soon.

Tough day!

Working evening shift again today..started from 1200 till 2115hr. I felt completely tired and exhausted. It's just like I've been working for the whole day.

I sleep almost 9 hour this morning but still not enough.

My hormone tablet make me everything crazy. Hope I will be pregnant soon and this treatment will really help me to be a mom.

She is a good singer."Spice girl "is my favorite before... Now??? she's too much for my taste. Yah!she's one of the fashion icon...hmmm I will not say anything more about her..each up to you to decide guys..But she's rich and can shop miljon in 1 month.

I've been from my acupuncture this afternoon. It's so windy and chilly even if the sun was shinning. I phone my hubby if he can pick me up.



I was alone standing in the highway no one is around. The street was quite busy, car passing by. I felt boring standing in the street for 8 minutes.



I took my camera and take some shoot for my own shadow. Hhehhehe crazy idea but it's cool.



I do remember when I was a child with an age of 10. My younger sister and my cousin used to joke with each other of their own shadow and then they hide. They called it their own ghost.



Childhood memory...it's so nice to recall sometimes sweet to be young. To be innocent and free from every days life worries is what I missed as a child..

Walking 35 minutes to my job and listening music is one of my secret why I manage my healthy body. Grabbing the opportunity of the weather since the sun's nice and hot.

By the countryside I always see bushes. A row of blackthorn with beautiful snow white five petalled flowers. They are the anchors of the landscape.

Blackthorn can be found over in the Nordic and Mediterranean countries.

I am not sure if this kind of bushes is possible to grow in Tropical countries like Philippines and Thailand?

Saturday morning! hmmm summer is quite near. I was so tired yesterday after my window shopping. The whole countries celebrating "Labor day" on May 1 but here in Sweden they also celebrate "Walpurgis" or "Valborg".

May 2 and it's Saturday but I have work 1200hr till 2115. For this nice weather I don't feel I want to work but I have no choice. I need to take care of my job for this crises time is not easy to find another one.

Thinking that I and my husband will go out fishing again and have picnic after. We decided to make it next week hopefully the weather so nice as today.
