It's summer...summer here.It's warm Sunday and we've been camping today. We've drove 1 hour and half to reach the camping area.

A wonderful place to relax in the countryside.A perfect weather for 28degrees warm.This is what we've waiting for every year.So the summer really begins.

The sudden death of Michael Jackson!

The whole world was shocked that Michael Jackson passed away. It was a sudden death,because his heart stop functioning. When I woke up this morning,and my husband pick up the newspaper as part of his morning routines. He walked in the toilet and then back to our bedroom and gave the newspaper to me while I'm still lie in bed.

Front page Michael Jackson was dead.I can't believed that it was true. A few days ago when I was in Berlin Germany.My husband and I went to this place "Madame Tussauds"and took a picture of "Michael's waxwork in the museum.It looks like him.

Sad to say that this photo is not really sharp as I wanted to be.We were in a hurry because the car ferry leaving so soon.

As one of his fan,and never watched him perform live,wishing to watch his concert in London beginning on July 13.I started saving money since this will be happening after my 5 weeks vacation.But well...today "The king of Pop"leave us but his music will live forever.

Sad ...sad..sad..I really want to watch him do his magical dance move,that no one could.He needs to have a chance!but now it wouldn't happen.

No regrets at all!

June 25, today is my 4th year marriage anniversary.We're so proud and happy that we've got so far.It just like yesterday when I thinking back the day I meet him.

I prove to somebody that relation between two different culture works well.I can say that culture, language & beliefs are not the hindrances at all.Things that the only need is true love,respects.

Today's celebration we did in the simple way since we have spending 3 days in Germany in advance.

My hubby and I did a shopping tour.A few pair of shoes as this year gift.

Plus from my wish list "netbook"from lenovo.

We did not go out for dinner but we did some special food at home with wine of course and not to forget my favorite "Baileys" .

ACDC in Gothenburg!

Lets talk about concert again today.Last sunday was a big day not only in Borås but in the City of Gothenburg. Young adults was talking about ACDC,what?sorry but honestly I'm not a fan of them. I have a problem with "hard rock"music.My ears can't really handle it.

But ADCD have a lot of fans here in Scandinavian.Last sunday evening they ruled the scene in Ullevi.All of their fans who watched the concert were absolutely enjoyed.This hard rock band from Australia, show their best and captured the heart of young adults in Sweden.

Good job guys...I am not your fans but you are best!

Sir Elton John in Borås!

The world known music artist Sir Elton John having his concert yesterday.It was in Borås arena 80km from Gothenburg.It takes 1 hour to drive.

My hubby got the free ticket from his friend.I never been of his concert before.Thinking of lot expectation from him?yes I do.Since I do love some of his music.

The concert was started 20.30hour but he come on stage 20 minutes early.He have always his sunglasses as it used to be.With 7400 who watched his concert,Elton John gave his bow and wave his arm before he started. We have a lucky weather because it's not raining.

Wow!!!no doubt he was good at played piano in rock in roll and have a great voice,no wonder that he is one of well-known artist in the whole world .This 62 years old artist keep his face as younger than he is today.

But he started the melody that i never heard and not my type.Hmmm..uninteresting for me.It's not a question with his band because they are professional enough,and played great.I looked at the crowd and seems they're enjoying,including my hubby and his 2 friends.



After he played 4 songs, finally he sang my favorite "Skyline Pigeon". Here is some other list of songs that I enjoyed listening last night:

The concert was long that takes 2 &1/2 hours.All was enjoyed and singing after him, in spite of the chilly weather around 21.00 hr. It was a great experienced!

Checkpoint charlie!

It's took of the town about Wall of Berlin.Myself known about it since I was in the Philippines during my college days.Not expected to have a chance for vacation here.

We've been in the known place in Berlin "Checkpoint Charlie". The American border line between Western - East Berlin,1945-1990.

It's really a horrible history of (photo above was during the borderline construction..in the other side before the boarder line opened)East Germany 20 years ago. Which now a days one of the most visited places in Berlin.

this is how the borderline wall looks like as of today..after the boarder was opened and the civilian people are free to visit in other part of Germany.

Let's celebrate!

I'm thinking not to continue my Berlin story today.I do it tomorrow instead.Let's celebrate today's big day here in Sweden. "Midsummer's Eve"that falls every Friday bet.19-25 of June. It's an ancient tradition in other parts of the world among other things Sweden and Finland.

Why they celebrate?It's a thought and connection of the sun high level. This time night getting shorter. Most of the people are on holiday from their work.

They celebrate by dancing around in the midsummer pole. It's unusual for me for the past 2 years but now I did understand why this day is so important. To celebrate midsummer is like Christmas Day and Easter. People here ,partying the whole day and counted as "red day" in Swedish calendar means people who are working get double paid.

Berlin trip day2

Lubeck Germany!my hubby and I decided to take some tour in the city.Lubeck is an old city in Germany but still a lot of beautiful places.

We've been to this place which show in the video"Holsten Gate"most significant town gate of the late Middle Ages in Germany and trade- mark of the City.Constructed bet.1464 and 1478 by the council's architect Hinrich Helmstede.

A lot of fascinating building in this small city.We drove around 2 hours in the city of Lubeck and then we continued the trip to Berlin.

Berlin trip!journey by car.day1

June 14 .. first day trip till Berlin. 1600hour we left Gothenburg right after I quit from work, since we will travel with car.

In short this is how we reach Berlin by car trip:

• Gothenburg Sweden - Malmö(370 km) (boundary city of Sweden & Denmark) it takes 2hours for us to drive thanks to the fast E6 highway.


• Malmö - Rodby Denmark takes = 1hour and 45 min.. From Malmö we pass through the boundary bridge between the 2 country(Sweden &Denmark) and then passed through the tunnel under the sea water.yah!!it's very interesting! But passing the bridge was not free we paid £35 for one way only.


• (my hubby ..paying for the bridge charge ).

Rodby - Puttgarden Germany we make it for 1.45 exact 20.00 hour we arrived Rodby where there we need to ride ferry to Puttgarden. The ferry leaving from Rodby Denmark at 20.45 so we take our time.we have book reservation in the net,only thing we did was take out the ticket.Speaking of Internet everything here works superb.You feel no hassle at all. It works in the country! Shopping on board was fun!it's always tax free.I bought versace perfume which I discoverd in the hotel that I took the wrong kind .I keep it anyway there's no chance to change it!well still smells good.

• Puttgarden - Lubeck Germany takes 50 minutes to drive.My hubby take 160km/hr sometimes 140km/hr.It's really fast for me but in motor highway in Germany have no speed limit.Sounds crazy but true except in country road and in the city itself. In short we've reach the hotel in Lubeck 23.00 hour which we are the last guest arrived!thanks to the hotel staff that waited till we came.

The whole day was over ...we have a comfortable bed nice and soft.I sleep like a log for that night!hhhehe. Second day "Berlin trip"will be continue tomorrow.I will download photo as well.

Back home!

Nice to be back home. 2300 hour we arrived home.My husband and I got so tired for our long journey. We travelled 3 days to Berlin and it was a wonderful trip!I would like to ask sorry to all of you guys for the past few days of not updating my blog.

I promise to tell you about the wonderful things I've seen in Berlin. Allow me to have some rest for this moment...

Living far away from family and friends takes time to adjust.But with my companion"magic sing" was such an entertaining stuff.

Things enhance my wellbeing!

Their are variety of things that enhance our well being. Environment at home is one factor that makes our daily routine miserable.

A good marriage is a key to have a happy life. I did not mean 100% perfect but as long you can communicate well with your partner good relationship will works. But their are times that we need to have someone to lend on a side from our love one.





I am the only Asian woman in my department but I was so glad that I have them. My working friends!that understand me in spite of my origin. I got their respect and makes more happier.

beautiful Island!

this time destination of my trip is "The Island". It's fresh air and fresh breath yeah,I have this feeling of a new born human while watching the sea view. It's 25minutes ride from Gothenburg City. The transportation was not a problem here because they have all the access. Busss and taxes are available. see the picture carefully You may understand what I mean. Beautiful!!

Normal life !

Sweden have a short summer month every year. That's why people makes lot of fun during summer season.

Most of the Some families here have summer houses ,as you've seen in the picture. The ccommunity granted the owner to live in every summer month with electricity of course.

Riding boat or kayaking is one leisure of the people in Sweden.

I do fascinated with this area that's why I decided to pass by here. It's clean and green! To be out in the fresh air is good for health.

Gothenburg City

The street in the City is free for traffic jam in the morning. Usually rush hour 1700.

the charming entrance of Gothenburg Opera building. It's located on the southern riverbank and is one notable landmark of Gothenbug as well as this "lipstick building" as people in Gothenburg named it.

Yachts and sailboats scatterd since sailing is the popular sports activity here in Gothenburg.
